01 -
Preheat oven to 200°C. Arrange frozen breaded chicken patties on a baking sheet and bake for approximately 20 minutes, or until thoroughly heated and crisp. Remove from oven and slice each patty lengthwise to create two halves.
02 -
Spread garlic butter evenly over one side of each bread slice. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine marinara sauce, dried basil, and garlic salt. Heat the mixture in the microwave for 30 seconds to 1 minute, stirring to ensure uniform warmth.
03 -
Place one bread slice, buttered side down, onto a preheated skillet. Layer with two slices of provolone cheese, one tablespoon of warmed marinara sauce, two chicken patty halves arranged to cover the bread, two additional tablespoons marinara, then one more slice of provolone cheese. Top with a second bread slice, buttered side up.
04 -
Cook the assembled sandwich over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes per side or until the bread is golden and crisp and the cheese is fully melted. Repeat assembly and grilling process for the second sandwich.
05 -
Sprinkle shredded Parmesan cheese over the remaining heated marinara sauce. Serve alongside each grilled sandwich as a dipping accompaniment.
