Ground beef, teriyaki sauce, ramen and broccoli come together fast for a sweet-savory, weeknight favorite.

# Required Ingredients:

→ Main Components

01 - 450 grams ground beef (85/15 lean-to-fat ratio)
02 - 2 tablespoons minced garlic
03 - 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
04 - 2 packets ramen noodles, seasoning discarded
05 - 225 grams broccoli florets

→ Teriyaki Sauce

06 - 60 millilitres white wine or sake
07 - 50 grams granulated sugar
08 - 120 millilitres mirin
09 - 120 millilitres light soy sauce

→ Garnish (Optional)

10 - Sesame seeds

# How to Make It:

01 - In a heavy-bottomed skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned and thoroughly cooked, approximately 6 to 8 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
02 - Add minced garlic and ginger to the beef. Sauté for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring constantly, until fragrant.
03 - Pour in white wine (or sake), sugar, mirin, and light soy sauce. Stir to combine evenly.
04 - Allow the mixture to simmer over medium heat for 6 to 8 minutes, until the sauce is reduced by half and slightly thickened.
05 - While the sauce simmers, cook ramen noodles in boiling water for one minute less than package instructions. Drain well.
06 - Steam broccoli florets in a microwave-safe bowl, covered, for 1 to 2 minutes until just tender but still bright green.
07 - Add cooked ramen and steamed broccoli to the skillet with the beef and sauce. Toss thoroughly to coat noodles and vegetables.
08 - Transfer to serving bowls and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired. Serve immediately.

# Additional Information:

01 - For optimal flavor, use fresh ginger and garlic, and reduce the sauce until it clings to the ingredients. If sake is unavailable, dry white wine is a suitable substitute.
