One-Skillet Spicy Honey BBQ Sausage Pasta (Print-Friendly Format)

01 - 340 g rotini pasta
02 - 340 g spicy sausage (Andouille or Italian), sliced
03 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
04 - 3 garlic cloves, minced

→ Sauce

05 - 240 ml BBQ sauce (smoky or honey-based)
06 - 2 tablespoons honey
07 - 1 teaspoon paprika
08 - 0.5 teaspoon chili powder or cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
09 - Salt, to taste
10 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

11 - Fresh parsley, chopped

# How to Make It:

01 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook rotini pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
02 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced sausage and sauté until well browned and caramelized, about 5–7 minutes. Remove sausage from skillet and set aside.
03 - In the same skillet, add more olive oil if necessary. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant and golden.
04 - Add BBQ sauce, honey, paprika, chili powder, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir thoroughly and simmer for 2–3 minutes to slightly thicken.
05 - Return the cooked sausage to the skillet, add the drained pasta, and toss to coat evenly in the sauce.
06 - Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately while hot.

01 - Adjust the heat level by increasing or reducing the amount of chili powder or cayenne pepper to preference.
