Preheat oven to 175°C and grease a 23 x 33 cm baking dish.

Spread the lemon pie filling evenly in the prepared baking dish.

Evenly sprinkle the dry lemon cake mix over the pie filling.

Drizzle melted unsalted butter over the entire surface of the cake mix.

Transfer the dish to the oven and bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and edges are bubbling.

Remove from oven and allow to cool for several minutes before serving.

Dust with powdered sugar just before serving, if desired.
