Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add sausage links and cook, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides, about 5–7 minutes. Remove from skillet and slice each link into bite-sized pieces.

In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add yellow onion, red onion, and minced garlic. Cook for 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add red and green bell peppers, dried basil, and dried oregano. Stir to combine and season evenly.

Pour white wine into the skillet, scraping up any browned bits. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until peppers and onions are tender, about 5–7 minutes.

Return sliced sausages to the skillet with vegetables. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes to meld flavors and heat through. Add extra white wine if mixture appears dry.
