# Instructions:

01 - Combine the fresh blackberries, sugar, and orange zest in a small bowl. Let the mixture stand for 20 minutes until it becomes syrupy.
02 - Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
03 - In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, melted butter, and milk until smooth.
04 - Pour the batter into an ungreased 8-inch square baking dish. Spoon the berry mixture over the top.
