02 - 1 tablespoon oil (avocado or sesame)
03 - 8 oz flank steak, thinly sliced
04 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
05 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
06 - 1 teaspoon soy sauce

→ Garlic Butter Sauce

07 - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
08 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
09 - 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
10 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
11 - 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
12 - 1 teaspoon brown sugar
13 - 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
14 - 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
15 - 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
16 - 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

# Instructions:

01 - Boil noodles according to package instructions. Drain and toss with 1 teaspoon oil to prevent sticking. Set aside.
02 - Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the sliced steak, season with salt, pepper, and soy sauce, and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove from pan and set aside.
03 - In the same pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, sautéing for 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 1 minute.
04 - Add the cooked noodles and steak back to the pan. Toss to coat everything in the garlic butter sauce. Squeeze in fresh lime juice and give it a final stir.
05 - Sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot and enjoy!

# Notes:

01 - Lo mein, ramen, or fettuccine noodles all work great for this recipe.
02 - For substitutions, try shrimp, chicken, or tofu for a protein swap.
03 - To increase heat, add more red pepper flakes or a drizzle of sriracha.
04 - Make it creamy by stirring in a splash of heavy cream or coconut milk at the end.
