Garlic Butter Pan Seared Pork (Print-Friendly Format)

Pan-seared pork chops covered in garlic butter, offering juicy, golden bites perfect for a quick dinner.

# Required Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - 2 pork chops, bone-in or boneless, approximately 2.5 cm thick
02 - 3 cloves garlic, minced or finely chopped
03 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
04 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
05 - Salt, to taste
06 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
07 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

→ Garnish

08 - Fresh parsley or thyme, finely chopped (optional)

# How to Make It:

01 - Trim excess fat from pork chops and pat dry thoroughly with paper towel. Liberally season both sides with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
02 - Heat olive oil in a cast iron skillet or heavy-bottomed pan over medium-high heat until shimmering.
03 - Arrange pork chops in the hot pan without overcrowding. Sear undisturbed for 3 to 4 minutes per side until a golden brown crust develops.
04 - Lower heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and baste pork chops continuously with the garlic butter for 1 to 2 minutes.
05 - Verify internal temperature reaches 63°C using a meat thermometer. Remove chops from the pan and allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

# Additional Information:

01 - Patting pork chops dry promotes optimal browning and prevents steaming during searing.
02 - Resting meat before slicing ensures maximum juiciness.
