farm fresh peach cobbler (Print-Friendly Format)

Tender Bisquick crust meets juicy peaches and a touch of spice, baked to golden perfection for a sweet finish.

# Required Ingredients:

→ Fruit Filling

01 - 480 g fresh peaches, sliced (or 820 g canned sliced peaches, drained)
02 - 200 g granulated sugar

→ Cobbler Batter

03 - 120 g Bisquick All Purpose Mix
04 - 240 ml whole milk
05 - 65 g unsalted butter, melted
06 - 2.5 ml ground nutmeg
07 - 2.5 ml ground cinnamon

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
02 - In an 20 x 20 cm baking dish, combine Bisquick mix, whole milk, ground nutmeg, and ground cinnamon. Mix until smooth. Incorporate melted butter until the batter is uniform.
03 - In a medium bowl, toss sliced peaches with granulated sugar until evenly coated.
04 - Evenly distribute the sugared peaches over the cobbler batter in the baking dish.
05 - Bake for 60 minutes or until the crust is golden brown. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly.
06 - Portion while warm for optimal flavor. Optionally accompany with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

# Additional Information:

01 - All-purpose flour may substitute Bisquick, but Bisquick lends enhanced flavor and structure.
02 - Consider omitting sugar if using very ripe or canned peaches in heavy syrup to adjust sweetness.
03 - Enjoy cobbler hot or cold; pairing with vanilla ice cream is highly recommended.
