Delicious Cruffins Cinnamon Sugar (Print-Friendly Format)

Flaky, sweet cruffins with buttery cinnamon layers. Enjoy fresh from the oven with a dusting of powdered sugar.

# Required Ingredients:

01 - 1 sheet puff pastry
02 - 60 ml granulated sugar
03 - 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
04 - 60 ml unsalted butter, melted
05 - 60 ml powdered sugar, for dusting
06 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 190°C.
02 - Roll out the sheet of puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to smooth and even thickness.
03 - In a small bowl, stir together granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
04 - Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the rolled-out pastry. Brush entire surface with melted butter.
05 - Roll the pastry up tightly from one edge to form a log. Cut the pastry log into 12 equal portions.
06 - Lightly grease a standard muffin tin. Place each pastry segment, cut side up, into an individual muffin cup.
07 - Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and well puffed.
08 - Let cruffins cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar. Drizzle with vanilla extract if desired. Serve warm.

# Additional Information:

01 - For added flavour, spoon fruit preserves or chocolate-hazelnut spread onto the pastry before rolling.
02 - Try substituting cinnamon with cardamom or nutmeg for a different aroma.
03 - Store cooled cruffins in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days. Refresh briefly in the oven if needed.
