Chipotle Honey Chicken Skewers (Print-Friendly Format)

Smoky chipotle and honey glaze brings sweet heat to tender grilled chicken skewers. High-protein and low-calorie.

# Required Ingredients:

→ Chicken

01 - 900 grams boneless, skinless chicken breasts

→ Marinade

02 - 120 millilitres raw honey
03 - 30 grams tomato paste
04 - 60 millilitres apple cider vinegar
05 - 10 grams chipotle chili powder
06 - 1 garlic clove, very finely chopped
07 - 2.5 grams salt, optional

# How to Make It:

01 - Slice chicken breasts into very thin strips using a sharp knife.
02 - Thread chicken strips accordion-style onto wooden skewers, ensuring even coverage.
03 - In a small bowl, whisk together honey, tomato paste, apple cider vinegar, chipotle chili powder, chopped garlic, and optional salt until well blended.
04 - Spoon the marinade evenly over the prepared skewers, coating all surfaces.
05 - Place skewers on a preheated grill and cook for 10–12 minutes, turning and basting every 2–3 minutes, until chicken is fully cooked and lightly charred.
06 - Alternatively, bake skewers in an oven preheated to 200°C for 16–18 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked.

# Additional Information:

01 - For optimal tenderness, do not overcook the chicken; it should reach an internal temperature of 74°C.
02 - If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes prior to grilling to prevent burning.
03 - Each skewer uses approximately 110 grams of uncooked chicken.
