Golden pockets stuffed with beef, cheddar, pickles, and zesty flavors for a fun family meal.

# Required Ingredients:

→ Filling

01 - 450 g lean ground beef
02 - 120 g shredded cheddar cheese
03 - 60 g diced onion (yellow or white)
04 - 30 g diced pickles
05 - 15 ml ketchup
06 - 15 ml mustard
07 - 2.5 ml garlic powder
08 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

→ Dough and Finish

09 - 1 sheet refrigerated pizza dough or crescent roll dough
10 - 1 egg, beaten

# How to Make It:

01 - Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking up with a spoon until browned and thoroughly cooked. Drain any excess fat. Add diced onions and continue cooking for 2–3 minutes until softened. Mix in garlic powder, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper, cooking for 1 minute more. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
02 - Preheat oven to 190°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
03 - Unroll pizza or crescent dough onto a clean surface. If necessary, roll out to approximately 6 mm thickness. Cut into squares or circles for individual pockets.
04 - Place a spoonful of beef mixture in the centre of each dough piece. Top with cheddar cheese and, if desired, diced pickles. Fold dough to enclose filling, pressing edges together with a fork to seal.
05 - Transfer pockets to prepared baking sheet. Brush tops with beaten egg for a golden finish. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Allow to cool briefly before serving.

# Additional Information:

01 - Allow the filling to cool before assembling to prevent the dough from becoming soggy.
