# Required Ingredients:

→ Beef mixture

01 - 2 teaspoons olive oil
02 - 450 grams lean ground beef (10-20% fat)
03 - 1 medium onion, finely chopped
04 - 2 tablespoons mayonnaise (regular or light)
05 - 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce or ketchup
06 - 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 1 teaspoon kosher salt
08 - 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

→ Rolls and cheese

09 - 12 Hawaiian rolls (1 package)
10 - 8 slices cheddar cheese or 180 grams shredded melty cheese
11 - 1 tablespoon soft butter (for greasing the pan)

→ Glaze topping

12 - 2 tablespoons butter
13 - 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
14 - 1 tablespoon brown sugar or maple syrup
15 - 2 teaspoons sesame seeds or Everything Bagel Seasoning

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 177°C. Line a baking dish or sheet pan with parchment paper or aluminium foil sprayed with oil, or spread a thin layer of soft butter directly onto the pan surface for crispier slider bases.
02 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add finely chopped onions and sauté for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden. Add ground beef and break it up with a spatula, cooking until no pink remains, approximately 3 minutes. Turn off heat, tilt skillet, and remove any excess grease using a spoon or paper towel. Incorporate mayonnaise, barbecue sauce, garlic powder, kosher salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly, then taste and adjust seasoning if desired.
03 - Without separating them, slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally. Arrange the bottom halves in the prepared pan. Cover with half the cheese, layer on the beef mixture, and follow with remaining cheese. Cap with the top halves of the rolls to complete the assembly.
04 - In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine butter, Dijon mustard, and brown sugar. Microwave for 25 seconds and stir to a smooth consistency. Brush the glaze generously over the tops of the rolls, then immediately sprinkle with sesame seeds or chosen seasoning.
05 - Place assembled sliders into the oven and bake, uncovered, for 12-15 minutes. Remove from oven. Using a serrated knife, cut along roll lines to create individual sliders and serve promptly while warm.

# Additional Information:

01 - Cook and refrigerate beef mixture, and prep glaze up to 2 days in advance. Assemble and bake sliders just prior to serving for best texture.
02 - Substitute ground beef with turkey, chicken, or plant-based meat for alternative options.
03 - Sliders may be frozen before baking for up to 3 months. Reheat directly from frozen at 177°C for 15-18 minutes until hot throughout.
04 - Choose shredded or sliced melty cheeses such as provolone, fontina, pepper jack, or American for variation.
