# Ingredients:

01 - 1 yellow onion, chopped small.
02 - 2 teaspoons smoked paprika.
03 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder.
04 - 1 teaspoon dried thyme.
05 - 1/4 teaspoon salt.
06 - 2 ounces cream cheese.
07 - 1 can (15 oz) fire-roasted diced tomatoes.
08 - 1/4 teaspoon crushed black pepper.
09 - 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper for some heat.
10 - 1 tablespoon olive oil.
11 - 1 teaspoon oregano (dried preferred).
12 - 1/4 teaspoon onion powder.
13 - 3 green onions, chopped.
14 - 1 tablespoon butter.
15 - 1 pound chicken breast (boneless/skinless).
16 - 2 cups chicken stock or broth.
17 - 1/2 pound penne pasta.

# Instructions:

01 - In a small bowl, mix your Cajun spices together.
02 - Cube the chicken, then toss it evenly with the homemade seasoning.
03 - Melt butter with oil in your frying pan over medium heat.
04 - Cook chicken pieces in the pan until they have a nice golden color.
05 - Throw in the chopped onion, cooking it for about 2 minutes until tender.
06 - Toss in broth, tomatoes (with liquid), and dry pasta to the pan.
07 - Let it reach a boil, then cover, lower the heat, and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
08 - Stir it once in a while until the pasta is soft and cooked through.
09 - Stir in the cream cheese and let it blend smoothly.
10 - Sprinkle green onions over the top and enjoy your meal.
