Sweet bananas foster meets warm, gooey bread pudding for a perfect dessert.

# Required Ingredients:

→ Bread Pudding

01 - 20 ounces Texas Toast enriched white bread, cut into 1-inch cubes
02 - 4 cups milk
03 - 5 large eggs
04 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
06 - ½ cup granulated sugar

→ Bananas Foster Sauce

07 - ½ cup butter
08 - 1 ½ cups packed brown sugar
09 - 1 teaspoon cinnamon
10 - ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
11 - ⅛ teaspoon cloves
12 - ½ teaspoon rum extract
13 - ½ cup heavy cream
14 - 3 bananas, sliced

# How to Make It:

01 - Let bread cubes sit out to become slightly stale.
02 - In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla. Add bread cubes and stir to coat.
03 - Place the bread mixture in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
04 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
05 - Pour the soaked bread mixture and any remaining milk into the prepared baking dish. Cover with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Set aside to cool while preparing the sauce.
06 - In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Stir constantly until the sugar is completely dissolved.
07 - Add heavy cream and stir until combined. Stir in bananas and rum extract until fully incorporated.
08 - Pour the banana sauce over the baked bread pudding. Serve warm and optionally top with vanilla ice cream.

# Additional Information:

01 - Letting the bread sit out to become slightly stale helps it absorb the egg mixture better.
02 - Covering the dish with aluminum foil prevents excess browning during baking.
